The environment sub pages contain a range of information where you can find important information about the natural environment in Wingecarribee Shire or hints and tips on how to be more sustainable. For those with an interest in the environment, teachers researching information or students looking for some great assignment resource material, Council’s State of the Environment Report features 120 pages of accessible information on our natural attributes and the human impact on our environment. Within the report are examples of action taken by Council and community groups to ensure a sustainable future for the shire. Find out about environmental issues such as land, water, air, biodiversity, waste and noise, as well as indigenous and non indigenous heritage.
