At the Ordinary Meeting of Council held on Wednesday, 27 February 2008 Council resolved as follows:

1.             THAT Council reverts to two (2) Council meetings per month commencing at 3.30pm. 
2.             THAT for March and April the Council meetings be held on the 1st and 4th Wednesdays and thereafter on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month. 
3.             THAT all business previously allocated to the Services & Infrastructure Committee and the Strategy & Finance Committee be dealt with at Ordinary Council Meetings. 
4.             THAT Council retains the Legal Committee, Finance Committee and LEP Sunset Committees. 
5.             THAT the Services & Infrastructure (SIC) Inspection Committee become the Council Inspection Committee. 
6
.             THAT from May 2008 Information Sessions be held on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesdays. 
7.             THAT Councillors in rotation chair the Open Committee Sessions of Council meetings. 

Questions from the public are heard between 5.30pm and 6.00pm during Ordinary Meetings of Council. 

Questions are to be written on the prescribed form (copies available in the Council Chamber) and those wishing to ask questions should first give their name and the topic of the question.  They must be read by the member of the public asking the question and handed in at the conclusion of the meeting.  The duration of the question is limited to three (3) minutes and the number of questions permitted by each speaker is a maximum of three (3).
